August 15, 1947, marked the end of centuries of British colonial rule, granting India the long-awaited freedom it had fought tirelessly for. The Indian independence movement, led by visionaries like Vallabhbhai Patel, Subhas Chandra Bose paved the way for our independence. This day symbolizes the birth of a nation’s self-determination and the triumph of unity, sacrifice, and resilience.

Today as the nation was celebrating its Independence day PM Modi added cherry on the cake with a confident announcement that by 2047 as India will complete 100 years of Independence its would have become a developed country.

This is indeed a very ambitious task, well what to say our Prime Minister is known for taking them. Given his track record I am hopeful that within my Lifetime given him the opportunity he can make India a developed nation.

The Main points he highlighted were :-
